Is the Christian god concept like a medieval monarch sitting on a throne?
All this Christian garbage was concocted by people during a time when monarchies were all the rage. There were no democratically elected leaders back in those days; leadership was ped on by hereditary rights and enforced by armored soldiers. So it’s only natural that the kind of religion that these people would create would mirror the type of leadership under which people lived. Plus the fact that Christianity was concocted as a way to control the commoners, it seems logical that the type of conceptual precepts of the religion should be something that commoners can clearly visualize like a medieval monarch sitting on a golden throne in a big palace with lots of expensive stuff casually tered around the place. Do you think so too?
