Why can't the Republicans get any decent candidates?

No one outside of Illinois had even heard of Obama before he started his run for president. No one knows who he is today because his past has been sealed from the public. The difference is that liberals just don't like any Republican candidate because they're Republicans, while at the same time don't even care who their own candidates are.
