Why would my husband tell me something so horrible and then say he was lying.?

Me and My brother were ually molested.He did not reveal to me that he was molested till his mid twenties.It is so much harder for a man to confide in someone and open up about what happend.Especially if the abuser was a man..they worry that they may be gay and can be phobic.He really may have had a flashback when you touched him there and it slipped out.I know that a person has to be ready to deal w/ a ual ault/molestation.Do share w/ him that you are there for him no matter what and patience is best ,unless he is ever self-destructive.
