Are there still U.S. troops being deployed to Indo-China?

This person I know was in the U.S. Army and he believes that there are still U.S. troops, not POWs, in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia being deployed as military operatives. I personally think he's full of it, but want to see what the Internet community thinks.
